The recap
Diamondbacks took Los Angeles out behind the woodshed at Chase, 8-1, in what was basically over by the middle innings. Arizona's bats got into the Angels starter early and never let him settle, while their own guy cruised through the order with a tidy line that kept the bullpen mostly napping.
The Halos couldn't string anything together past that lone run, and at 30-45 they're starting to look like sellers come July. Getaway day in the desert, and the D-backs climbed back over .500 with room to breathe.
