25 games played, by sport.
MLB The marquee matchup tonight is the New York Yankees hosting the Chicago White Sox at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees at 44-27 are heavy favorites at -192 and the heart of their order figures to make life miserable for whatever Chicago sends to the mound. Keep an eye on Atlanta, too, where the Braves at 46-26 are the best team in baseball right now and the San Francisco Giants bullpen is going to need a starter who can go deep if they want to stay in it. Tomorrow's getaway-day slate features a juicy National League East tilt with the New York Mets heading into Citizens Bank Park to face the Philadelphia Phillies, an over/under of 9 that hints both managers might be going to the pen early.
WNBA The game to circle tonight is Dallas Wings at Golden State Valkyries out at Chase Center — both squads locked in at 9-5 and Vegas barely touching it at a 2.5-point spread, so expect a full forty minutes of somebody trying to drop a dagger in the fourth. The Minnesota Lynx are running through this league at 11-3 and head into crypto.com Arena as near ten-point favorites, which tells you everything you need to know about where the Sparks are right now. Then cap your night with Atlanta Dream at Indiana Fever — a coin-flip 1.5-point line between two teams that have been getting buckets all season, and that one's got overtime written all over it.
World Cup The marquee matchup to watch is South Korea at Mexico at Estadio Akron — both sides come in with a win already, so this one's effectively a knockout-round audition with first place in the group on the line. Colombia, heavy favorites at -250, take on Uzbekistan in what could be a paddling if Colombia's attack clicks, though the over-under of 2.5 leaves room for surprises. Meanwhile, Switzerland host Bosnia-Herzegovina at SoFi Stadium — the Swiss are -185 favorites and will fancy their chances of keeping a clean sheet against a Bosnia side that dropped their opener.
