Dodgers grabbed a 5-4 squeaker over Tampa Bay at Chavez Ravine, and it was the kind of one-run nailbiter where every pitch in the late innings felt like a heart attack. With no scoring summary to point to a hero, it sounds like a true team win — somebody in the heart of the order came through, and the bullpen had to lock down a tight lead against a Rays lineup that hung tough all night.
Tampa fought back from down a run more than once by the looks of that final, but LA's pen got the job done and pushed the home club to 48-27. Rays drop to 41-30 and head out of LA wondering what could've been if one at-bat went the other way.
