The recap
Brewers took the Guardians behind the woodshed at American Family, 9-4, and it wasn't really that close. Milwaukee's bats jumped on Cleveland early and the heart of the order kept the line moving all night, while the Guardians' starter never got into his stuff and the manager went to the pen too early trying to stop the bleeding.
At 45-26 the Brewers are looking like the class of the Central, and Cleveland's slide back to .500 territory is starting to feel less like a slump and more like a problem. Classic getaway day beatdown.
