Dodgers cruised, 9-2. Freeway Series was basically over by the fifth. Angels just couldn't string anything together.

The recap
Dodgers absolutely steamrolled their freeway rivals 9-2 at Chavez Ravine, and it was never really close. The Angels' starter clearly didn't have it early, and once the heart of the order got into his stuff a couple balls left the yard and the rout was on.
Halos skipper went to the pen way too early and the bullpen just poured gas on the fire. Los Angeles is now a season-best 19 games over .500 while the Angels keep sinking toward the basement at 24-41.
