Giants and Angels traded punches all night at Oracle and needed extra baseball to settle it, San Francisco walking it off 7-6 in the bottom of the 10th. This was a getaway-day slugfest where neither bullpen could slam the door, and the free runner in the 10th finally tipped it the Giants' way.
Both clubs are buried in the standings, but for one night San Francisco got to mob somebody at home plate. Angels leave the coast kicking themselves for letting a lead slip late.
