Angels rolled into Comerica and put a 7-spot on the Tigers, with Detroit's bats going quiet for a 7-1 final that wasn't really that close. LA jumped on Detroit early and never let the heart of the order get into anything, while the Tigers managed exactly one run all afternoon.
Felt like a getaway day for Detroit, who couldn't string anything together and watched the Angels' lineup do work up and down the card. Both clubs sit at 22-35, but only one of them looked the part today.
