The Hurricanes have been one of the league's best penalty-kill units all season, which puts a premium on Montreal staying disciplined and out of the box if they want to keep this one close. Keep an eye on whether the Canadiens can generate anything from the slot in the late stages of the third, because if Carolina holds the lead with a few minutes left, you can bet the Habs will be pulling the goalie and hunting for the tying snipe.
