Houston AstrosvsSan Francisco Giants
HOU 6/SF 3
The Astros beat the Giants 6-3 in 10 innings at Oracle Park.
The recap
This one was knotted up through nine before Houston finally broke it open, plating three in the tenth to steal it 6-3 at Oracle. The Giants hung around all night but couldn't push across the run they needed when it mattered, and once the game got to extras you could feel it slipping.
Houston's bullpen slammed the door in the bottom of the tenth to lock it down. Rough getaway spot for San Francisco, who drop another one and sink deeper in the standings.
