Houston went into Rate Field and put up a nine-spot, roughing up the White Sox for a comfortable 9-5 win. The bats did the heavy lifting early and never let Chicago hang around, which is exactly the kind of getaway-day cushion you want.
The Sox pen didn't do them any favors either, and the offense couldn't chip back into a four-run hole. Astros take it and quietly climb back toward .500 at 51-54.
