The recap
Giants took care of business at Oracle, knocking off the A's 3-1 in a tidy little pitcher's duel. San Francisco's arms set the tone all night, keeping the bats quiet and never letting the heart of the A's order do any damage.
Three runs was plenty with the way the staff was dealing, and the bullpen slammed the door to lock it down. Nice bounce-back night for a Giants club that's been scuffling at 32-46.
