The A's went into Oracle Park and put up a nine-spot, knocking off the Giants 9-6 on a getaway afternoon. San Francisco's starter couldn't get into his stuff early and the heart of Oakland's order made him pay, building a cushion the bullpen never coughed up.
The Giants clawed back a few but every time they got close, the A's answered right back. At 33-47, it's just more of the same sad summer by the bay.
