Twins grabbed a tidy 2-0 win over the A's at Target Field, and this one was all about the arms. Minnesota's staff slammed the door for a shutout, choking off Oakland's bats all night and never letting the heart of the order get comfortable.
Two runs was all they needed with pitching like that, and the bullpen locked it down clean at the back end. Getaway-day baseball at its finest, but a shutout's a shutout when your guys are in their stuff.
