MLB The marquee tilt is the New York Yankees at the Philadelphia Phillies, a genuine heavyweight clash between two clubs jockeying for playoff seeding, currently knotted at 1-1 in the middle innings after both starters got into some early trouble. Keep an eye on San Diego, who erupted for six runs and are cruising into the bottom of the eighth against Miami, while later tonight the surging Los Angeles Dodgers, owners of the best record in baseball, take on a Mets lineup that's scuffling with a sub-.500 OBP as a club. MLS The marquee game is already underway, with Charlotte FC scoring twice inside the first 22 minutes at Red Bull Arena to put Red Bull New York firmly on the back foot. Later, keep an eye on Nashville SC traveling to Orlando City, a clash between two of the East's form sides where Nashville's stingy defense will look to keep a clean sheet on the road. Out West, LAFC hosting Sporting Kansas City looks like a potential sitter for the hosts given the lopsided odds, while San Jose Earthquakes versus LA Galaxy carries some California bragging rights.
