Philadelphia edged Atlanta 3-2 at Subaru Park in a proper end-to-end scrap. Milan Iloski was the driving force up top, peppering the goal with seven shots and dragging the Union across the line.
Atlanta kept it interesting and Lucas Hoyos made four saves to stop it becoming a rout, but they never quite found the equalizer. Big three points for a Union side that badly needed them.
