Blue Jays snuck out of Fenway with a 4-3 win, and it had that classic getaway-day feel where neither side wanted to be the one left holding the bag. Toronto's bats did just enough against Boston's starter before the manager went to the pen a hair too early, and that's where the lead flipped.
Red Sox couldn't string anything together in the heart of the order late, stranding traffic in the bottom innings. Toronto's now back over the .500 conversation while Boston keeps sinking further under it at 29-43.
