NFL NetSoldier Field
Things to say

The Bears beat the Browns 34-10 at Soldier Field.

01
opener
Bears rolled, 34-10. Cleveland hung around in the first half, then Chicago just pulled away. Browns couldn't move the ball once the starters sat.
02
key player
Case Keenum came off the bench and threw two touchdowns. Journeyman backup carving up a defense, gotta love it.
03
hot take
Watson looked fine, 11-of-15, but Cleveland's whole offense went quiet the second the ones came out. That's the real worry.
04
deep cut
Jamree Kromah had two sacks, and Kaden Davis went for 88 on four grabs. Nobody's heard of these guys, that's how deep the Bears' camp battle is.
05
exit
It's just August anyway. Let's see if the starters even play a full half next week.
The recap

Cleveland jumped out to a 10-0 lead and looked like they'd control it, then the whole thing flipped and the Browns basically couldn't move the ball the rest of the way. Chicago clawed even before halftime on the Bagent-to-Alexander strike and Santos boot, and then Case Keenum came in and torched them for two touchdown passes to bury it.

The Bears' pass rush was the story late, with Kromah's two sacks and constant pressure turning Cleveland's offense into three-and-outs. Final was 34-10, a laugher once the backups took over and Chicago just kept piling on.
