The morning line

MLB The marquee game is Nationals at Mets, tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth at Citi Field, so it's walk-off watch with the heart of the order due up. Elsewhere, Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers is the night's best top-of-the-standings clash, two clubs both pushing 75 wins jockeying for playoff positioning, while the Braves try to keep rolling at home against the Diamondbacks. Also keep an eye on Orioles-Rays, tied 1-1 early, and the Phillies-Twins tilt where a Philadelphia southpaw will be trying to keep the Twins off the bases and out of the box score.

MLS The marquee slate item is Inter Miami CF away at Nashville SC, a clash between two of the Eastern Conference's best sides with just a point separating them near the top of the table. Nashville have found the net at a great clip this season and will fancy a clean sheet at home to solidify their spot, though Miami's attack is always capable of a moment of magic. Also keep an eye on Houston Dynamo FC hosting a struggling LA Galaxy side, with Houston heavily fancied to keep their surge going.

NFL The marquee matchup is the Philadelphia Eagles heading to Baltimore to face the Ravens, with Philadelphia favored by three and a half and the over-under sitting at thirty seven and a half, so watch for fireworks in the red zone if that number holds. Earlier in the day the Jacksonville Jaguars couldn't quite shake New Orleans, clinging to a slim lead into the fourth quarter, while the Los Angeles Rams have moved the ball well against Kansas City and lead by eight with under two minutes left, putting the Chiefs in third-and-long trouble as they try to mount a comeback. Later, keep an eye on Dallas at Seattle, a pick'em type spread where time of possession and who wins at the line of scrimmage will decide it.

WNBA The marquee tilt is Minnesota at Las Vegas, with the league-best Lynx rolling in at 28-7 to take on the defending-champ-caliber Aces, and Vegas favored at home despite Minnesota's gaudy record, so expect buckets at both ends and a scoreboard that could climb near 180. Washington also hosts a desperate Sparks squad they should handle behind the spread, but keep an eye on Indiana at Atlanta the next night, a legit close one between two 20-win teams that could come down to who's got ice in their veins in crunch time. Nothing else on the slate screams must-watch, but that Lynx-Aces game is the one to have on if you only catch one.
