Nothing separated these two at Stade Saputo, a 1-1 draw that neither side could break open. Montreal's Synchuk peppered the goal with four shots but couldn't find the net, and DC's keeper Sean Johnson was the busiest man on the pitch, pulling off seven saves to salvage the point.
Both of these teams are scrapping near the bottom, and it showed in the fine margins here.
