Philadelphia EaglesvsBaltimore Ravens
PHI 7/BAL 24
Things to say
The Ravens beat the Eagles 24-7 at M&T Bank Stadium.
01
opener
Ravens handled the Eagles 24-7, never really in doubt. Baltimore jumped out early and Philly just couldn't move the ball. It was smashmouth from the jump.
02
key player
Fagnano was efficient — 22 of 28 for 224 and a touchdown. One pick, but he ran the offense clean all day.
03
hot take
Philly's only points came in garbage time. That 7 flatters them — this was a 24-0 game that felt worse.
04
deep cut
Baltimore put up three unanswered scores before Philly ever found the end zone, and Loop was automatic on kicks. The defense set the tone.
05
exit
Long season though — one week doesn't tell you much. Curious to see if Philly bounces back next week.
The recap
Baltimore never let this one get interesting, jumping out to 24-0 before Philly finally found the end zone in garbage time. Joe Fagnano was steady all night, going 22-of-28 for 224 and hitting Ja'Kobi Lane for the opening score, then the ground game took over with Adam Randall and Austin Reed punching in touchdowns.
The Eagles couldn't move the ball until it was way too late, managing just a Cole Payton dart to Erik Ezukanma with the game long gone. Ravens 24, Eagles 7, and it wasn't as close as even that looks.
