Free baseball at Fenway, and the Diamondbacks stole one, 7-6 in 10 innings. Boston clawed back to force extras but couldn't slam the door in the bottom of the ninth, and Arizona pushed across the go-ahead run once the game spilled into the tenth.
With no leaders posted it's hard to hang a hero tag, but this had bullpen fatigue written all over it once both starters were long gone. Getaway-day heartbreak for the Sox, who let a road team walk out of Fenway with a one-run road win.
