Atlanta DreamvsConnecticut Sun
ATL 104/CON 69
Things to say
The Atlanta Dream blew out the Connecticut Sun 104-69 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
01
opener
Man, that was ugly. Atlanta ran the Sun off their own floor, 104 to 69. It was over by halftime.
02
key player
Rhyne Howard was cooking. 29 points and she was just splashing from everywhere, absolute buckets.
03
hot take
Connecticut's toast. Eight and twenty-four? They flat out couldn't buy a bucket all night.
04
deep cut
Angel Reese quietly ate them up on the glass too, 15 boards. She's a problem in the paint.
05
exit
Atlanta looks locked in for the playoff push. Curious to see if they keep it rolling next game.
The recap
Atlanta rolled into Mohegan Sun and turned it into a laugher, hanging 104 on the Sun in a 35-point beatdown. Rhyne Howard ran the show with 29 and never let Connecticut breathe, while Angel Reese ate them up on the glass with 15 boards.
The Sun just couldn't buy a bucket all night, and once Atlanta pulled away there was no coming back. Another rough one for a Connecticut squad that's now buried at 8-24, while the Dream keep stacking wins.
