Nil-nil at Gillette and honestly it was a bit of a slog. England hogged the ball and peppered away at it, but they couldn't find the net and Ghana were happy to sit deep and soak it up.
Benjamin Asare was reliable when called upon and Gideon Mensah threw himself at everything, a proper rearguard shift to earn the clean sheet. A point apiece, both sides level on the day, and England will be kicking themselves for not putting away the chances they had.
