The recap
Coors Field did what Coors Field does, and the Rockies squeezed out a 7-6 win over the Giants in a game that never let anybody breathe. San Francisco's bullpen had this one and let it slip, coughing up the lead late in the thin air where no lead ever feels safe.
Colorado kept clawing back into it and finally punched through to steal a game they had no business splitting on paper. Nine innings of teeth-grinding, and the last-place club walks off Independence Day weekend with the one-run dub.
