LAFCvsColorado Rapids
LAFC 0/COL 1
Things to say
Colorado Rapids beat LAFC 1-0 at home for a clean sheet.
01
opener
Rapids got it done, 1-nil over LAFC. Wasn't pretty but they took their chance and locked it down. Clean sheet at home, that's a big three points.
02
key player
Navarro was a handful up top, five shots on his own. Colorado runs through that guy right now.
03
hot take
LAFC looked flat, honestly. Two shots all night? That's not a road performance, that's a no-show.
04
deep cut
Reggie Cannon put in fourteen defensive interventions from the back. That's the unsung work that wins you a nil-nil-type grind.
05
exit
Rapids are climbing the West now. Curious to see if they can back it up on the road next week.
The recap
Colorado edged LAFC 1-0 at home, and it was the kind of grinding shift where one goal was always going to be enough. Rafael Navarro led the line and kept peppering the box with five shots, while Nico Hansen kept things tidy at the back for the clean sheet.
Reggie Cannon was everywhere with 14 defensive interventions, snuffing out LAFC every time they tried to build something. LAFC keeper Cabral Carter made five saves to keep it respectable, but his side barely troubled the goal and go home with nothing.
