Minnesota LynxvsAtlanta Dream
MIN 81/ATL 89
Things to say
The Atlanta Dream beat the Minnesota Lynx 89-81 at home.
01
opener
Atlanta took care of business at home, 89-81. Big win over a Lynx team that's been rolling all year. Dream just wanted it more down the stretch.
02
key player
Allisha Gray was a problem all night. 23 and 11, a legit double-double, and she got buckets whenever they needed one.
03
hot take
Minnesota's 31-9 record is doing some heavy lifting, because they got out-toughed in the paint tonight. Nobody should be scared of them right now.
04
deep cut
Jordin Canada quietly dished 10 dimes and never forced it. That's the game right there, she ran the show.
05
exit
Anyway, real test is if the Lynx bounce back next time out. I'll be watching that one.
The recap
Atlanta played spoiler at home, knocking off the league-best Lynx 89-81. Allisha Gray put on a clinic with 23 points and 11 boards, and Jordin Canada ran the show with a clean 10 dimes.
Minnesota came in at 31-9 but couldn't buy a bucket down the stretch, with Olivia Miles' 21 not enough to keep pace. Big statement win for the Dream against the class of the league.
