The recap
Seattle went into the Trop and just bullied Tampa Bay, hanging an 8-2 laugher on a getaway day. The Mariners got to the Rays early and never let up, pounding out runs while their starter went deep and kept the heart of the order quiet.
Tampa's bat never got going, and once Seattle stretched the lead the bullpen coasted home. Not much drama here — just a road team that came in and took care of business.
