Marlins rolled into PNC Park and put up an 8-3 beatdown on the Pirates Friday night. Miami's bats got into the Pittsburgh starter early and never let off the gas, with the heart of the order doing the heavy lifting and a couple balls leaving the yard to break it open.
Pirates skipper went to the pen too early and it backfired, turning a manageable deficit into a laugher. Both clubs sit at 35-35, but only one walked out of Pittsburgh feeling good about it.
