Minnesota held on to beat Phoenix 104-100 in a game that stayed tight to the buzzer. Kayla McBride was the whole show, dropping 37 and hitting buckets from everywhere to carry the Lynx down the stretch.
Phoenix hung around thanks to Kahleah Copper's 26 and Alyssa Thomas stuffing the stat sheet with 12 dimes, but they just couldn't get the stop they needed late. Minnesota moves to 18-6 while the Mercury took another tough L to fall to 8-17.
