Nats grabbed it 5-2 out in Sacramento. Never really felt close after they got the lead. Solid getaway-day win.

Whoever the Nats ran out on the bump got into his stuff early and gave them length. Bullpen barely had to sweat it.

Two runs at home? The A's bats are just flat. That heart of the order isn't scaring anybody right now.

Wild part is the A's are still playing home games at Sutter Health Park, a Triple-A yard. Small ballpark and they still can't leave the yard.

The recap
Washington went into Sacramento and took care of business, beating the A's 5-2 on a getaway day. The Nats punched enough across to make it comfortable, and the arms made it stick once they built the cushion.
The A's just never got their bats going against the heart of Washington's staff, stranding traffic and never really threatening. Nationals climb back to .500 at 50-50; the A's drop to 42-57 and can't get out of the basement.
