The recap
Nationals rolled into Chase Field and snuck out with a 6-1 win, and honestly Arizona never looked comfortable in this one. Washington's bats did the damage early and the bullpen slammed the door, holding the Diamondbacks to a single run all night.
Arizona's offense just couldn't string anything together against the WSH staff — one run on getaway day isn't going to beat anybody. Both teams sit at .500-ish now, but the Nats are the ones walking out of the desert feeling good about themselves.
