The Astros edged the Rangers 5-4 in a one-run nailbiter that came down to the wire at Daikin Park. This was a back-and-forth Lone Star scrap all night, and Houston found just enough late to nudge ahead and hold on.
The bullpen had to earn it in the closing frames, slamming the door with a slim one-run cushion. Houston moves to 57-55 while Texas drops a heartbreaker to 55-56, still scrapping to stay in the hunt.
