The recap
Atlanta took care of business at home, riding a balanced attack to an 8-5 win over Texas. The bats did the heavy lifting early, stacking runs through the heart of the order and never really giving the Rangers room to climb back in.
Texas made it interesting late and pushed five across, but the bullpen slammed the door before it got scary. Getaway-day baseball, and the Braves are the ones flying out with the good vibes at 57-41.
