Boston walked into Anaheim on a getaway day and grinded out a 7-5 win the Angels will want to forget. The bats did the heavy lifting early and the lineup kept the pressure on the heart of the order, enough to survive when the pen made it interesting late.
LA hung around and got it to a two-run game, but never got the big hit to flip it. Boston's now 40-48 and stole a road one they needed.
