FC Cincinnati threw a proper party at TQL Stadium, hanging four on a San Jose side that came in top of the pile at 10-3-5. Kenji Mboma Dem led the line with four shots and kept the Quakes' backline scrambling all night, while Angus Gunn was busy making seven saves and still shipped four.
San Jose punched back twice to keep it interesting, but Cincy always had that extra gear. Statement win against the standings-leaders, and the away side goes home well beaten.
