The recap
Cascadia derby at Providence Park, and Portland got the better of it 2-1. Kevin Kelsy was a handful all night, peppering Seattle with five shots and leading the line for the Timbers.
The Sounders had their moments through Albert Rusnák, who pulled one back to make it interesting, but Portland saw it out. Bragging rights stay in Oregon, and the two sides are now basically level on the table.
