Tonight's marquee game on FOX has the Atlanta Braves — a scorching 39-19, best record in baseball — bringing the heart of their order into Great American Ball Park to face the Cincinnati Reds, with the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals rivalry game at Busch Stadium serving as a lower-run alternative given the over/under sits at eight.
NBA The marquee game tonight is the San Antonio Spurs visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center, and with both squads sitting at the top of the league — OKC at 64-18 and San Antonio right behind at 62-20 — there is nothing soft about this one. The Thunder are favored by three and a half, but a two-win difference in the standings means the Spurs are absolutely capable of walking into Oklahoma City and handling business. Watch the paint: whichever team is getting buckets in the post and controlling the glass is going to dictate this game, and at an over/under of 212.5, expect both offenses to be cooking all night.
WNBA The marquee game tonight is the Indiana Fever at Portland Fire on CBS — the Fever are laying 11.5 points, so watch whether Portland can keep it close or just takes the L by halftime. Right now the Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks are at halftime with the Sun up 39-36, a tight one that could go either way. Tomorrow the Las Vegas Aces head into Chase Center to face the Golden State Valkyries in a near pick-em (-1.5 Aces), which should be must-watch ball between two teams with winning records looking to separate themselves in the standings.
